DNA Ladders (60–300 bp)

DNA ladders covering the 60–300 base pairs (bp) range are specialized molecular weight markers designed for precise sizing and approximate quantification of small double-stranded DNA fragments. These ladders consist of a series of discrete DNA fragments within this size range, typically including bands spaced at regular intervals such as 60, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300 bp.

They are commonly provided as premixed, ready-to-load solutions, enabling direct loading onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels without additional preparation. The ladders produce sharp, well-defined bands, with some fragments (e.g., 100 bp and 200 bp) often present at increased intensity to serve as internal reference points for easier identification during electrophoresis.

These ladders are ideal for applications requiring high-resolution sizing of small DNA fragments, such as PCR product analysis, genotyping, and small restriction fragment mapping.
